I have a conflict between the love of art and the desire to make money. I feel remorse at having spent so much on my art, but not succeeding commercially.

Love is the attempting of various projects, the playing out of various aspects of self for the contributions they can make and the tendencies and lessons they reveal.

Of financial affairs, you need not fidget and worry so much, just jump into and enjoy the flow as it exists in your life. Enjoy and participate joyfully in the flow that exists in your life and with your creative energies explore joyously the deeper aspects of existence.

For there is a higher form of security for those who explore and rejoice in finding the deeper levels of human life, the levels that truly mean something to you and to those around you.

People yearn for exposure to creations and sentiments that send them on voyages of discovery, voyages of recognition.

Thus speak up to people, not down to them with the production of hackneyed, jaded, and ordinary images for money, but speak up to people with those feelings and creative abilities that illuminate the path, illuminate the presence of God in their lives, illuminate the direction in which true hope for wealth and general well-being lies.

People are hungry for the truth, for real hope, for understanding, for perspectives beyond those that lead simply to a sale.

How can I find a commercial outlet for my photography?

All love is here, for commercial photography has many avenues, many ways to go, limited only by your imagination.

Imagine the best that you want for yourself and for others, and thus shall be the perfect outlet. Imagine, visualize, see the big picture to sell a picture.

How to combine commercial success with a need to serve spiritual truth?

To be a commercial success is to run the risk of blinding self to the origin of that commercial success, and thus is the answer: to be aware of and responsive to the Origin of success.

I am torn between art and commercial work.

All love is here also, for commercial photography when done well is an art, and one need not limit oneself to hackneyed images or stereotyped photographs. Let the marketplace be a guide, but let your creativity lead.
