What is a good direction for me to pursue in photography? What should I photograph and how should I market it?

All love is here also, the love of recording images of the vast world around you, images of nature, of cities, of people. To pursue a direction in photography is sometimes to chase after it, like a panting dog chasing after fast automobiles, sometimes too fast for itself.

To find the proper rhythm and subject matter in your own photography is to discover what you love, then to assure yourself that others love similar things, and then to market from that standpoint.

Photograph indeed what you love with the confidence that others love similarly, and then merely comes the task of presenting what you have created to the proper audience.

Do what you truly love and then present it to the world at large.

In other words, incite love through your photography, not simply sales or alienated images. Incite love through your photographs.

What might I photograph for maximum benefit?

Photograph your life, your stages of growth; reflect on the beauty and the hatreds and evasions that cross your path everyday. To photograph uplifting and beautiful subjects is a superior statement, to reveal self is the ultimate statement for you and the others participating in life's odyssey.

Is photography important?

Is life important, is God important, is being important important? Nothing is important save the ability to love and the desire to grow.

All these other enterprises are vehicles and can be traded in and discarded at the proper time.
