Reflect on the US invasion of Iraq.

All love is here, the asking of an important global question.

Indeed the American invasion of Iraq is a provocation, an aggravating presence that has created a nightmare of violence and hatred.
The US military presence is a provocation that has little chance of victory, of completing its goals.

The tragedy of the war is that so many innocent people - indeed mostly innocent people - are suffering and dying.

Indeed the tragedy of all wars is not just the sacrifice of the combatants, but also the suffering of the innocent, of the gentle people who are simply trying to lead productive, worshipful lives and have no interest in conquest, hatred, or extreme ideologies.

It is the innocent who are suffering and dying in the Middle East, and these are the people one must hold uppermost in thine heart to understand the true nature of war, its demonic and wasteful nature. Wars of aggression don't solve, they subjugate.

War is savagery beyond description, beyond evil, beyond the darkness. Indeed wars of aggression are acts of immense betrayal, betrayal of self, betrayal of love, betrayal of all that is good, all that is constructive, all that is love in the universe.

Love is the most powerful force for change. Love transforms, lifts, fills hearts with the light of divinity; whereas war strangles and mangles, kills, devastates and disheartens. War disheartens the innocent and the perpetrators both.

Let love illuminate the large numbers of people who are trying to live good, productive, peaceful lives rather than the world focussing its attention solely on the extreme elements who advocate violence.

Wars of aggression do not solve problems nor shed light. Wars aggravate and create the conditions for more war.
