Are humans a product of evolution?
Evolution essentially is the purpose of the earth, that you will evolve, take self as it is and through introspection and work refine self and learn to love more.
Physically evolution is the process that creates out of an equality of substance, DNA, the great variety of beings that are manifest on your planet - out of the equality of substance, the diversity of living beings.
And thus for the spiritual also -out of the equality of God's being and love, the great diversity of created beings exploring and manifesting new forms of self, new ways of perceiving the essence of existence.
Evolution is indeed a hopeful and self-fulfilling process, and it is genuinely hoped that souls will evolve during their stay on earth .
Is it true that the material is but an illusion?
It is true that the material is but an illusion, but it is also true that one's most valuable lessons and experiences will occur here in the material world.
The material itself is not of significance, but your participation in it is extremely significant - thus the difference.
