Is Islam a violent religion?
All love is here, an asking of an important question.
Islam itself is not a violent religion, but some of the practioners of Islam are violent, and like many violent souls they use their religion to justify and enable their personal violence.
Islam is a religion like Christianity in which the devotee can pick and choose those verses and truths they wish to follow. As there is violence in the Bible, there is also violence in the Qu’ran, violence that followers can focus upon and use for their own ends.
Christianity and Islam both have texts that offer the highest truths of God's message to humans, as well as base justifications for violence.
Each person must choose their path, no one is an automaton, but all must choose.
