Reflect on being oppressed by others or by circumstances.
All love is here now, asking about the perception of oppressors in life.
Indeed there are many who devise schemes to manipulate others against their will, and one is often caught in such webs. And terrestrial reality itself is cyclical, subject to change, and oftentimes one is caught in those cycles also.
But to be oppressed from within is the true hurdle, the greatest obstacle to self-expression and growth.
One can grow stronger through adversity, but one can't grow at all unless one is free from within, and is not blocking self with negative or self-pitying attitudes.
One's truest battle is with the self within that desires to hold self back, to magnify the influence of oppressors to grand conspiracies against self, to be self-pitying or self-limiting.
One can live in dignity and grow despite oppressive and degrading circumstances if one wills it so, and many have.
Or one can have the most fabulous luck in life, stumble upon riches, fame, good fortune, and yet backslide his whole life long.
Growth occurs within, the outer is the stage, the backdrop, the setting. All power lies within.
